TripAdvisor has revealed the 10 best beaches in Spain according to the users of this travel website. The beach of Ses Illetes, in Formentera (Balearic Islands), has been awarded as the best of the Spanish coast in the Travellers’ Choice Beaches 2016 awards. In fact, Ses Illetes is the best beach in Europe and the seventh in the world, according to the TripAdvisor rankings published this Wednesday. Five other Spanish beaches are also among the 10 best beaches in Europe.
By autonomous communities, of the top 10 Spanish beaches, three are in the Balearic Islands, three in the Canary Islands, two in Andalusia, one in Galicia, and another in the Basque Country.
TripAdvisor also published the ranking of the best hotels just under a month ago.
